About me

Claire Bassett is a music educator and clarinetist working towards a Virginia teaching license in K-12 Instrumental Music by pursuing a Graduate Certificate program at George Mason University starting Fall 2025. Claire graduated in Spring 2025 with a Masters in Music Education from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. While there, Claire worked as a Graduate Assistant with the ODU Athletic Bands. Claire graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music (which translates to 36 credits of music courses and 96 credits across the liberal arts and sciences) at the University of Virginia in May 2023.
